Hybrid & Managed Integration

SAP Cloud Integration Services

Cloud Integration is the runtime that moves your business documents between SAP and everything else. This page is about running it well — getting standard content live quickly, connecting cloud to on-premise securely, and operating the platform so failures are caught before the business notices.

If you are looking for hands-on iFlow build and SAP PI/PO migration, that is covered on our SAP CPI services page. If you need the wider platform and governance picture, see SAP Integration Suite.

What Cloud Integration Does in a Modern SAP Landscape

Once you adopt cloud SAP applications, integration stops being a background technical concern and becomes the thing your business processes actually run on.

The hybrid reality

Very few organisations are purely cloud or purely on-premise. A typical landscape has S/4HANA (on-premise or private cloud), SuccessFactors for HR, Ariba for procurement, Concur for expenses, a CRM, a warehouse system, and several banks and tax portals. Cloud Integration is the layer that keeps those consistent with each other.

Why standard content matters so much

SAP publishes thousands of prepackaged integration packages on the SAP Business Accelerator Hub, covering the common flows between its own products — SuccessFactors to S/4HANA employee replication, Ariba to S/4HANA procurement, Concur expense postings. Copying and configuring a standard package is dramatically faster and cheaper to own than building the same flow from scratch, and it gets maintained by SAP.

Where the effort really goes

In practice, the mapping is rarely the hard part. Secure connectivity, certificate lifecycle, error handling, reprocessing strategy and monitoring are what determine whether an integration landscape is calm or chaotic. That is where we focus.

Our SAP Cloud Integration Services

Deployment, hybrid connectivity and day-two operations — the parts that decide whether integration stays reliable after go-live.

Prepackaged Content Deployment

Get SAP-to-SAP flows working fast, using content SAP maintains.

  • Package selection from the SAP Business Accelerator Hub
  • Configuration of standard SuccessFactors, Ariba and Concur content
  • Safe extension of standard packages without breaking upgradeability
  • Version tracking so SAP content updates can be adopted

Hybrid Connectivity

Cloud tenants reaching on-premise systems, securely and supportably.

  • SAP Cloud Connector installation, high availability and hardening
  • Principal propagation so on-premise auditing keeps the real user
  • Destination and connectivity configuration in SAP BTP
  • Firewall, proxy and network design agreed with your infrastructure team

Edge Integration Cell

Keep regulated data processing inside your own network.

  • Assessment of which flows genuinely require local processing
  • Kubernetes-based Edge runtime deployment and sizing
  • Design once in the cloud tenant, run at the edge
  • Data residency and compliance documentation

Monitoring & Alerting Setup

Know about a failure before the finance team calls.

  • Message monitoring, retention and log level strategy
  • Alert routing into email, Teams, Slack or your ITSM tool
  • SAP Cloud ALM and Focused Run integration
  • Dashboards showing throughput, latency and failure trends

Managed Integration Operations

We watch the queues so your team does not have to.

  • Daily error queue review and reprocessing
  • Incident triage against agreed response targets
  • Certificate and security material renewal calendar
  • Monthly reporting with root cause trends and fixes applied

Security & Compliance

Integration is where personal and financial data moves. Treat it accordingly.

  • OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS and client certificate configuration
  • PGP encryption and signing for partner exchanges
  • Payload logging policy that supports debugging without leaking data
  • Audit evidence and access reviews for regulated environments

Which Runtime Option Fits Your Requirement?

Cloud Integration can run in SAP's cloud or inside your own network. The choice is usually driven by data residency and latency, not preference.

How We Onboard Your Integration Landscape

Whether we are deploying new content or taking over an existing tenant, we follow the same disciplined onboarding.

  1. Tenant & landscape reviewWe audit the existing tenant: iFlow inventory, error rates, externalised parameters, security material expiry, documentation and monitoring gaps.
  2. Stabilise the noisy failuresBefore any new work, we fix the flows that fail routinely. This removes alert fatigue and gives everyone an accurate baseline.
  3. Connectivity hardeningCloud Connector high availability, certificate calendar, and destination configuration reviewed and corrected.
  4. Monitoring & runbooksAlerting is routed to a real destination with a documented triage runbook per interface, so first-line support can act.
  5. Deploy & extendNew standard content deployed and configured, custom flows built where no package exists, all with externalised configuration.
  6. Operate & reviewOngoing operations against agreed targets, with monthly reporting and a quarterly review to retire dead interfaces.

Why Choose CssInfotech for Cloud Integration

Building an integration is a project. Keeping two hundred of them healthy is a discipline. We do both, and we are honest about which one you need.

1

Standard content first, always

We check the Business Accelerator Hub before quoting a build. A configured standard package is faster to deliver and SAP keeps maintaining it — that is a permanent saving, not a one-off one.

2

We fix the noise before adding features

Taking over a tenant, our first job is eliminating the flows that fail every day. Teams that have learned to ignore alerts cannot spot a real incident.

3

Connectivity expertise

Cloud Connector high availability and principal propagation are where hybrid landscapes quietly go wrong. We have set these up often enough to get them right first time.

4

Operable by your team

Every interface gets a triage runbook. The goal is that your first-line support resolves the routine cases and only genuine defects reach an engineer.

5

Data residency literacy

We can tell you when Edge Integration Cell is genuinely required for compliance and when it is unnecessary cost and operational overhead.

6

Transparent service reporting

Monthly reports on volumes, failures, root causes and fixes applied — so you can see the failure trend going down, not just take our word for it.

SAP Cloud Integration FAQs

How is this different from your SAP CPI services page?

They are two views of the same technology. The CPI page covers hands-on development work — designing and building iFlows, and migrating interfaces off SAP PI/PO. This page covers deploying SAP standard content, hybrid connectivity architecture, and running the platform as a managed service. Most clients need some of each, and one team delivers both.

Can we use SAP prepackaged content without modification?

Often, yes — for standard SAP-to-SAP flows such as SuccessFactors employee replication, the packaged content covers the majority of requirements through configuration alone. Where you do need changes, the correct approach is to copy the package and extend the copy, which keeps a clear upgrade path when SAP publishes a new version.

Do we need a Cloud Connector for every on-premise system?

No. One Cloud Connector instance can expose multiple back-end systems and resources, and you configure exactly which hosts and paths are reachable. For production we always recommend deploying it in a high-availability pair, since a single Cloud Connector is otherwise a single point of failure for every hybrid interface.

What does managed integration operations actually include?

Daily error queue review and reprocessing, incident triage against agreed response targets, certificate and security material renewal, monitoring and alert tuning, minor change requests, and monthly reporting on volumes, failures and root causes. Larger changes and new interfaces are quoted separately or drawn from a retained bucket of hours.

When is Edge Integration Cell worth the extra effort?

When you have a hard regulatory or contractual requirement that specific data must not be processed outside your network, or when latency to on-premise systems makes cloud round trips impractical. It adds a Kubernetes cluster to operate, so we only recommend it where there is a genuine driver.

Can you take over an integration tenant that is currently unmanaged?

Yes, and it is a common starting point. We begin with a tenant health review and give you a written findings report — failure rates, expiring certificates, undocumented flows and hard-coded configuration — with a prioritised remediation plan before we agree service targets.

Want Integration That Stops Being a Daily Firefight?

We will review your current tenant and give you a written health report — failure rates, expiring certificates, undocumented flows and what to fix first. No commitment required.
